Fuqua’s Information Technology organization delivers a secure, innovative, and user-centered digital environment that supports teaching, learning, and collaboration across the school. From AI-powered tools to advanced classroom technology, Fuqua continually evolves its technology ecosystem to enhance the student experience.
Fuqua provides students with access to DukeGPT, a secure, university-managed platform for exploring and comparing advanced AI models. By combining Duke’s in-house open-source capabilities with leading cloud-based foundation models, DukeGPT ensures strong data privacy and protection while enabling students to experiment with AI for learning, research, and productivity.
Fuqua’s AI-enabled classrooms leverage advanced audio, video, and custom software to capture and analyze class discussions. These tools generate time-stamped transcripts and insights on participation and engagement, giving faculty deeper visibility into classroom dynamics and providing students with individualized feedback to improve their contributions. The system is opt-in and designed with robust privacy safeguards to ensure classroom recordings are used solely for teaching and learning.
Fuqua’s main web presence provides prospective students, alumni, and corporate partners with access to program information, events, faculty research, and school initiatives. Prospective and incoming students can request information, schedule campus visits, and participate in virtual events.
FuquaWorld, the school’s intranet portal, serves as a centralized hub for students, faculty, and staff. It offers personalized access to course materials, announcements, schedules, career resources, and directory information, along with collaboration tools that keep the Fuqua community connected.
Fuqua Connect complements this experience by serving as a hub for student life, providing up-to-date information on clubs, events, newsletters, and student-led initiatives.
Course delivery is supported through the Canvas learning management platform, which provides streamlined access to syllabi, assignments, course materials, and communication tools.
Fuqua’s Ford Library supports academic and career research with access to industry-leading databases across finance, consulting, marketing, healthcare, and economics, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Datastream, Factiva, Mintel, MarketLine Advantage, BCC Market Research, and Deloitte RECAP.
Students benefit from a robust computing environment designed for both individual and team-based work. The Fuqua Student Computing Space, available 24/7, includes:

Dedicated support is provided through Fuqua’s Technical Support Center (TSC), which offers comprehensive assistance via walk-in service, appointments, phone, email, and online tutorials.
